Description

Herberg De Kop van 't Land is a small restaurant located on the edge of De Biesbosch, a beautiful nature reserve. Since De Kop van 't Land is also an inn this is an ideal place for exploring the maze of several rivers, islands and creeks that make up the Biesbosch Natural Park.

At De Kop van 't Land you can dine à la carte and choose from three starters, three main dishes and four desserts. But you can also let the chef choose for you and have him prepare a wonderful three, four, five, or even six course dinner.

Open daily from 5 PM to 9.30 PM. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Mondays the restaurant organizes a try out called "proeverij". This means you cannot choose from the menu but instead are served up to ten dishes for you to taste.

Excellent diner!

Last week we had an excellent diner at 'Kop van het Land'. Nice waiter, plus good food and wine.

I had dinner here with a group of friends. We all chose to have the chef surprise us with a three course dinner. The splendid wine, the amiable service and above all the exquisite food made it a wonderful evening: five stars!

Relatively small vegetarian restaurant at the river Merwede. Fresh original food and an excellent wine collection makes this place worth a visit (or two).
